Michele Cacioppo

Dr. Michele Cacioppo holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry (Doctor Europaeus) from the University of Trieste and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. His research experience includes postdoctoral positions at CIC biomaGUNE, where he contributed to the EU Horizon 2020 DECADE project, and the University of Palermo, where he served as a Research Fellow while also engaging in academic teaching. Currently, he is a BS4S Fellow (Adiunkt) at the Institute of Physical Chemistry (IPC PAS). His current research focuses on the intersection of organic synthesis, nanotechnology, and materials science, with a primary interest in photoactive hybrid nanomaterials and surface functionalization.
